Caleb Rhodes is a sophomore at Yale University. His passion for soccer began in kindergarten when he started to play for his town; however, it wasn’t until middle school that he became an FC Barcelona super fan after his great aunt who lives north of Barcelona introduced him to fütbol culture abroad. In the years since, Caleb has continued to develop his love for the beautiful game through writing. As a Senior Editor of The Milton Measure in his final year of high school, he began writing a column entitled Corner Kick (the namesake of this blog). That seed endeavor grew into a podcast with fellow Milton Academy alumni Nathan Strauss and Nick Govindan, which eventually resulted in this website. At Yale, Caleb has further developed his involvement in sports journalism as a staff reporter for the Yale Daily News, where he covers women’s soccer, women’s swimming and diving, and the athletic office. Caleb cannot wait to continue expanding Corner Kick Media into a go-to source on the world of soccer.
